Otautau Gun Club.
I On Wednesday last a handicap match for a double-barrelled gun was fired off. The weather was stormy, and very much against shooting, but, as some of the members had come from a long distance, it was decided to go on with the match. Ten competitors were entered, and the winner turned up m Mr F. Crawford, for whom Mr J. Mclvor shot, the latter shooting very well, breaking ' all his birds from the 9yds mark. The second prize was for a trophy presented by Mr R. Sweetman, and valued at a £, and was won by Mr Hutohison, who killed' lß birds without a miss. Following are the scores : 4 yds Total F.
