The Invercargill Stook Agents report having held their fortnightly sale* at the Junotion Tards this day. Owing to the small yarding of fat oattle and the presence of a few outside buyers, competition was keen and nearly every pen sold at up to 25s per 1001 b for best. There was. a fair yarding of store oattle, but prioes showed no improvement, a number of pens being turned out unsold. Fat sheep sold well, but stores were dull of. sale. Fat Cattle— 66 yarded, mostly heifers and oows of good quality. Bullocks, best, £8 17s 6d to £8, light £6 7s 6d, speyed cows and heifers £7 17s 6d to £6 10s for good £9 17s 6d to £9, one extra heavy heifer £11 2s 6d, light and aged to £5. Sijore Cattle— 22B yarded. Three-year-old bullooks £4 7s 6d to £3 ss, 2-yr Bteers and heifers £3 to 355, yearlings 37s 6d to 20s, calves 15s to 10s.

Fat Sheep — 500 penned. Best wethers 25s to 235, good 22s 6d to 21s. Store Sheep— 300 penned; A small pen of indifferent wether's brought 12s 6d, ewes and lambs and 2 pens of hoggets were passed unsold.
