OTAUTAU HORSE SALE.

The New Zealand Loan and Meroantile Agency Co., Ltd,, report having held their usual monthly horse sale, m Sweetman's Crown Bazaar, on Friday last, when they had an entry of 33 horses of all descriptions, including the stallions "Prince Albert" and " Champion of the North." Thera was a good attendance of buyers, and the maiket showed more enquiry tnan at previous sales. The stallions were passed m, the owner's reBerve being considered too high by those present. The following is the prioes obtained:—Aged draughts £18 56, £24, £18, £21, £38 ; useful draughts £38, £21, £45, £40 ; spring-carter, £20 ; draught mare £40 ; draught geldings £39, £40, £30 10s, £36, £49; harness haok £18 10s.
