Cycle Road Race.

Tho cycle road race from Timaru to Christchurch eventuated last Saturday. There were 25 competitors, and J. P. O'Connor (Cricklewood) finished first. Rain fell during the greater part of the run, the road m conserving soft and muddy m many places. Appended is the result : J. P. O'Connor (4omins) 1 ; time 6 hrs 57 mirs. A.
