Store Sheep -those offered were breeding ewes and wethers and these sold readily. Ewes brought 265, sound mouthed 23s id aqd 20b 6d, aged 16a 104, wethirs 21s sd, 19s 3_ to 17s 3d. Lambs — About twenty new season's were offered and the quality was, not so good as m some former years, Young" lambs brought l_s 3d to 17s, older to 19s. J J_t Sheep—Export buyers operated more freely than for some time past. Extra prime wethers realised 28s to 35s 6d, prime 23s 6d to 278 6d, others 18s 6d to 235, primee wes 20s to 225, medium 17s 61 to 19s 6d, aged 15s to 17s. Fat Cattle— 23l entered. Except for bes prices were not gu te so firm as last week. Steers brought L6Ts 6_ to Lll ss, heifers Lsssto L 7 12s 6d, cows Lsto L 9; equal to 22s 6d to 25s for choice, 20s to 22s' for prime and 17s 6d to 19s 6d for cow and inferior beef, per 1001 b. Pigs— A fairly arge yarding and a better demand for fats than last week. Baconers 35s to 475, equal to 3 Jd to Sid per lb, porkera 22s to SO*— 4d to 4Jd, large stores 17s Sd to 225, medium 12s 6d to 17s, weaners 8s to!os6d. .
