Tbe game was a good one throughout, played fast and with a vim from start to finish. Invercargill made a good fight for it but were outplayed m most points of the game. Kelly, Robertson and Grant scored for Nightcaps, and these -three, with Cain, were probably the pick of what was a good team all through. Invercargill lacked the combination of their opponents, but have the makings of a capital team, which will give the Nightcaps team some trouble m future, The most prominent players amongst them were Wright, Shrimpton, Harlow, Stewart, and Gray.
