Tbere was a large yarding of all classes of stock. Beef showed a still further decline ; good sorts of store sheep sold rather better than last week ;, fat lambs and sheep manifested no change m values ; store cattle met with a v ry dull sale, while there was an active demand for good dairy cows. Si ore Sheep — A fairly large yarHing andslightly improved • demand for the batter classes of lambs and breeding at 14s lOd to 22s 3d. Lambs, lis 7d to 14s 61.

Fat Lamb3— 3ooo entered, and 2700 were taken for freezing : 17s Id to 19s, tegs 18s to 20s, butchers' lots 15s to 19s.

Fat Sheep Prims wethers 22s to 24s 9d, lighter 19s 6d to -21s 6d, prime heavy ewes 20s to 22s lOd, medium 17s to 19s 6d, inferior 14s to 16? 6d.

Fat CatUe— 279. entered ; only a small proportion of really prime. The sale was exceptionally dull. S*eer<? made £6 12s 6»l to £9 15s, heifers £5 5s to £7 103, cows £4 to £6 7s6d.

Store .Cattle— The sale was an exceptionally dull one. -•. Calves 18s to 20s, yearlings 25_ to 355, 15 to 18.months" 40s to 50s. 2yrheife'rs 50s, 3yr steers £4 ss, Syr heifers -C 3 15s, dry cows £2 ;o £3 ss, potters 20s to 50', dairy cows'to £10. •Pigs - A large y irding and a good demand. Baconers 45s to 6>s and to 62s for heavy weichts, porkers 30s to 361, large stores 25s to 325, medium 17s Gd to 245, weaners 10s to 12s 6d, suckers. ss* to 7s 6d.
