CAPITAL.
To the Edttor of 'The Observer.' Sib,— l ain't m the habit of writing much, though I reads a good deal ; and I don't thin < as I should have troubled jou with this, only I oan't stand the awful brag of that other paper. I read alot of stuff m it about the relations of Capital and the publio weal, and the vital interests of Labor,- or something of that sort, which, somehow or other, is so.mixt that darn me if I can get to the bottom of it. But this much I oan say— that I reckon England ain't the only " home of Capital "—I guess they've got a few dollars m- the States; as is invested m bills; faotories, and. Banks; and I reckon America's tbe home, of a good deal of that sort of thine;. This here little bunch of islands would soon be the home of a lot more than it is if we had more people with pluck to advocate the rights of the poor man the same as you do, instead of trying to look Bmart at the expense of them as knows more than he ever did— l means the oritter as scribbles for .heN;C.T. • Yours, <feo.,; Down Easteb.
