"NTOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Ohineniuri County Council held on the first day of August, 1912, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary, meeting of the Council to be held on the sth day of September, 1912. RESOLUTION. In exercise of the powers conferred on it by Part IV of the Counties Act, 1908, the'Ohinemuri County Council hereby makes by Special, Order by-laws under the Counties Act, 1908, and the Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1908, ! and the amendments thereof. The object and purport of the, proposed by-laws are :— To prescribe the charges payable for the use of the abattoir, the housing and feeding of stock before slaughter, and the slaughtering and dressing of stock. The charges shall be as follows i— For the slaughtering and dressing Of— . ■_,„. ; Each head of cattle .... 5s Od Each calf ... ... ... 2s 6d Each sheep or lamb ... Is Od Each pig ... ... ... 2s 6d For the use of the abattoir and the housing and feeding of stock before slaughter when stock not required to be slaughtered on the day following the day they are received at the abattoir for — Each head of cattle ... 6d per diem Each pig ... ... ...■ .6d per diem Each sheep, lamb, or calf ... ...' Id per diem A full copy of this by-law is deposited at the County Offices, Paeroa, and is open to the inspection of the public during office hours until the 4!h day of September next.
