Writtinjc on a recent appearance of the above company (which is to appear in Paeroa on Wednesday next) the
Wanganui Herald thus* comments :— We have witnessed 'nany entertainments — good, bad, and indifferent— and have no hesitation in classing the Belle Croine musical and vaudeville
combination among the very best. They

audience which assembled al ilu: Opera House last evening was quick to recognise this. The fact that every item was encored was a compliment to the
management's selection—a compliment that was thoroughly merited, for there was not a dull moment throughout the whole performance. Perhaps the most popular items from a musical point of view were the hand-bell selections of well known airs, a treble encore being recorded in each instance. The quality
of the music of the company produced from their bells was a revelation the tone being simply exquisite. Miss Belle Crome's charm and vivacity quickly installed her as a lavourite. She was equally at home with the violin and sleigh-bells, while her mandoline duet with Harry Fane pleased the audience immensely. Miss Ethel Richards, who is the possessor of a splendid soprano voice of great range and power, was heard to advantage in her operatic numbers, while her duets were equally popular. The other members of the company all supply up to date novelties. Prices are 3s, 2s, is, children is 6d and is 5 no sixpenny tickets.
