OCTAGON THEATRE

A doable-feature programme will be screened at the Octagon Theatre to-day. In " A Daughter of the Wolf," a Paramount picture, LiLa Lee is seen as a little motherless chfld, whose father is a far smuggler. Her life has bwm spent in the vast snow-bound wildernesses of tie Far North, and she has never been to the oity to which her father, known as Wolf A insworth, journeys eivery spring with bis furs. On one occasion, however, she prevails upon him to take her with him. Arriving in the city, accompanied by her father and his smuggling gang, chief among which is Roe, who is jealous of her every action, she meets and falls in lovo with Robert Draly. The maelstrom of excitement into which this _ meeting plunges the young course is said to lend to the picture many thrilling' touches. The_ role of Robert Draly is played by Elliott Dexter, who heads a splendid cast of supporting players. The other feature of the programme will be " A Very Good Young Man." in which Bryant Washburn takes the principal role. Ho is in ttiis characterisation a very good young man indeed. -In fact, he is so good that his sweetheart, despite her love for hirrv is obsessed 'with the fear that tho bad within him will probably oome forth in all its fury after their marriage, end make her lot an unhappy one.
