LOYAL ORANGE BAZAAR
The bazaar organised by the Loyal Orange Institution of Otago to raise funds for alterations to the recently-purchased lodge room in Leith street was continued yesterday afternoon and evening. As on the previous two nights, Burns Hall, where the bazaar is being held, was crowded, and that by those who were evidently there to assist the effort. Business in all departments was brisk; raffles were easily got off, sales were readily effected, and all the various side shows frere liberally patronised. During the evening an excellent programme of selections was played by the St. Kilda Band (under the conductorship of Mr E. Smith) in a manner that added to the enjoyment of those present. A large number of new articles arrived yesterday from northern lodges, and in orCex that these may be " cleared " tho bazaar will be open to-night from 7 to 9.50. Up to the present the financial results are quite up to expectation;;. and these are expeotea to be exceeded if to-night's sale equals that of the evenings tf it have gone, for which there is every reasonable hope.
