PRINCESS THEATRE
Very largo audiences enjoyed the two performances at the Princess Theatre on Saturday , when many artists who have won genuine popularity (including the clever Cavanna Duo) made their final appearance. *ive acts of good repute are announced to make their debut to-night. Foremost amongst these ranks "Skipper" Francis, a variety specialist of some fame. This mans act covers the whole field of vaudeville, including clever monologue work, singing, and an exciting recountal, with the m °i a , m ' r °J hls , own attempt to swim tho English Channel, which it will be remembered caused something of a sensation when he undertook it. Another notable new act will be that of tho Filmers. in which patrons are promised something sensational in the way of wire-walking. The other newcomers are Tilton and West (a pair of comedy entertainers), Jack Martin (the cowpunching comedian who won favour here many months ago), and Miss Jeanotte Spellman (the English disease). Several popular acts remain over for another week— .Cusko s Monkeys, Billy C. Brown, Thompson and Montez, and Huntley Spenoer. Capital entertainment is indicated.
