THE MAYORAL ELECTION
Councillor Braithwaito's Leith Ward Committeo met last evening at the King street rooms, when, despite the weather, there was a good attendance. Mr P. Forrester presidedl. Tho reports brought in by the members of tho committee were considered to bo reassuring, and to argue well for success in the Leith section of tho electorate. At the termination of tho meeting Councillor Braithwaito tendered , his thanks for tho onergetio mannor in which the canvass had been conducted, and three hearty cheora were'given for tho candidate.
