SCHOOL COMMITTEE ELECTIONS.

The following returns are to hand:—

Shah Point.—Messrs Angus M'Kay, Henry Parnell, Donald M'Leod, Edwin Brook, George Ferguson, G. R. Cheeseman, W. H. Williams. Roxbueuh.—The outgoing committee presented a very satisfactory report. The following were elected:—Messrs Nott, Burton, Waighth, Malonb, Baillie, Weatherall, Jas. Gray. Waipahi.—The old committee commenced the year with a credit balance of £18 6s IOd; they expended £3119s 3d, and left a balance of £16 18s Bd. The voting was as follows, first seven being elected:—Clarke, 17; Collins, 13 ; Campbell, 12; Moris, 12; Barnett, 12; Melrose, 10; Hallberg, 8; Kerr, 8; Frost, 5. Lower Haeboub.— Tho following householders were elected by ballot as members of the Lower Harbour School Committee for the ensuing year :—Messrs Purdie, Malcolm, Carey, Hewitt, Omond, Smith, D. Bonnar.
