ROLLER SKATING.

The English footballers having accepted the invitation of the manager of tho Columbia Skating Riuk to a mile skating race this evening, in order that a pleasant eveuing may be arranged for them, skaliug will bo continued up till 11 p.m. Duriug the evening Professor Simmons will go through a varied and interesting programme, particulars of which aro given iv our advertising columus.

At the Palace Rink this evening Professor Gibson is announced to givo an exhibition of fancy skating. The Engineers' Band will contribute some of the latest band music.
