Give - Something To Great Cause WfITH the object of promoting re- " search . throughout the British Empire into the causes and cure of cancer, the British Empire Cancer Campaign has been set bn foot, and is affording all citizens an opportunity to play a part m a great offensive against this terrible scourge. The object of the campaign is to^ raise funds to finance exhaustive re- j search work into the causes of the disease and generally to give medical science the weapons with- which to i fight the dread malady. So far as New Zealand is concerned, a cancer research station has already been established at Otago 'University, but a great deal more can yet be done towards the raising of funds. ■ The organisers of the campaign are asking all citizens of the Dominion to help them with donations, and m this excellent cause the response should be ready. Donations m Wellington should be sent to Mr. Robert Darroch, secretary British Empire Cancer Campaign, 212 Lambton Quay.
