WIFE WINS HER CASE
IN response to .his wife's complaints concerning his behavior, George James Chapman alleged gin drinking and swearing on the part of his spouse, but Mr. W. R. McKean decided for Ada Chapman when he delivered reserved decision on the case m the Auckland Magistrate's Court. Ada, who, amongst other things, stated that her husband had kicked her and. blacked her eyes, was granted separation, maintenance of £2 per week, and guardianship of the four children of the marriage.
