Those Were The Days
HOW many Aucklanders can remember the day that the first horse-drawn tram careered proudly down Hobson Street or the time when the now populous suburb of Grey Lynn was a desolate waste of ti-tree scrub? Well, John James Boyce can remember those days, and it is an enduring testimony to his health and vitality that he is as enthusiastic and energetic now as then. Chief of the firm of J. J. Bruce, Ltd., he's an Aucklander born -■ and bred, with a penchant for his garden and his car.
