"The Virginian," a screen adaptation of the great story and play by Owen Wister, Is the attraction now showing at , the Empress. Kenneth Harlan, Florence Vidor, and Raymond Hatton, supported by a big cast, are m the leading roles. The story is placed "out West," and tells the story of the Virginian from the time he rescues Molly Woods from a run-away stage coach, until he makes her his wife. The Virginian is a typical Westernerone who gets all he goes after, disregarding the most uneven odds. The story Is full of exciting episodes from start to flnish. It works up from drama to drama, until a great climate brings everything to a novel but happy ending.
