♦__ YOUNG LOVERS ROPED IN. Girl Not Allowed To Go Out With Her Boy. There aro still some highly oldfashioned parents m New Zealand. Never allowed to go out at night for a walk with her boy, a twenty-year-old girl ("An Anxious Reader") writes In desperation to "Interpreter." Here is her letter: Dear "Interpreter": I have been reodlng your paper and I have seen many letters that have beon written to you and the answers that have beon given. I want to ask your advice: T have been going with a boy for nearly five years and he ls a respectable young man. I want to know if a girl, nearly twenty years of age, can be kept ln and never allowed out. My mother Is old-fashioned. When my boy comes down to tho house we have to stay ln the kitchen all the time. I am never allowed to go out at night for a walk with my boy, I have been working at ono place for five years nnd I have kept myself respectable. My mother has no c.vcuso to treot me like this. l\ has hurt my boy. It mokes him think that ho can't be trusted with me. He Is going with mo for every good Intention. lam getting tired of all thlß. T give all of my pay In every week, and I never get any of It back. If I left home and lived m a respectable place, could thc police touch mc. or could mv parents force me to come back home?
