G. Bryce be appointed as referee for the tie, also that the Huntly Club had grounds for a protest should the V.M.C.A. play Wedderspoon. But these miner officials are real sports, as there was no notice taken of their Wellington adviser-in-chlef, but the incident of the receipt of the letter was passed on whilst the miners were m town.
