.■ ."' HalsweU,Christchureh, July 28, 1906. I have much pleasure m certifying that I havo boen under Mr. 1?. Webb for medicinal treatment for four months. I can honestly say he was the means of saving my life and my husband's. When eight doctors I was under could not, and did not, do me any good, I was a thoroughly shattered woman when I went to Mr. Webb for his' treatment. My husband and I are indebted to him for life-time. I shall never forget wh?vt ha has done for us. Besides my many other ailments, I had yards and yards of tapewbrm. He cured me of that mno time. My poor husband was sent out of the Christchurch Hospital. After being a year under medipal, treatment .there he could neither eat,-' sleep nor work until I induced him to place himself under Mr. Webb'. My husband said tb ma: " What can Mr. Webb do for me when the hospital doctors cannot cure me ?"' Well,. I thank God the day I took him to Mr. Webb.. The very first bottle of Mr. Webb's medlr cine gave him appetite, strength and sleep. He was only two weeks under Mr. Webb when he was able to work, and a new man completely. I am writing on behalf of. my husband, as he cannot -frrite himself. I very much regret Mr. Webb's removal to Wellington : there is not one patient I know about here but speaks m the highest praise Af Mr. Webb. He was generous, honest and, kind to his. patients, rich and p-oor alike. We all regretted here the day he left Christchurch. God bless him wherever he goes' ; f6r the good he has done me and mine, and others hero. MRS. J. M. SMITH, and JAMES M. SMTTH, - . '.'.'■'.. Halaweli, via Christchurch. .65 Worce'ster--!sti'eet, : Christchurch. y Mr. F. Webb, Specialist— '■■"'". o : .' : ''/_ -■ O Sir, — Seeing the time has arrived when, I am pleased to say I.bhall be able to 'discontinue the use of your medicines— which you? have so; abundantly aiid 'so. Effectually supplied me with, I feel I cannot dp less than thank you for, pulling me tHrpugh such a time of sickness and ill-health as my past ljfe has been to me these last three /fe'ars, .for really what with my heart not/allowing me; to/remain;- in meetings, or church i or >^U m. a room where a fire was, forwant of air. I seemed to.be. unable.'to breathe when ja^ywhora but m open air, and after. walking I would feel faint and depressed; .; and glad to sit-down. Such a sensation of fulness, that life, with a variety of ailments directed to roe ■did not seem a very happy lot, . for noysooner was one pain gone than another came. I was altogether run down, the many, many sleepless nights, and sufferings generally made my system so weak. Then came Influeuza. Your medicine was the best I have ever taken for this complaint, and I must say although I have been attended by doctors m Dnnedin, Oamaru, Timaru and Christchurch, I have experienced greater relief and feel stronger to-day than I have felt for years past since taking the medicines srypplied by you to me during the past four months. lam writing this of my own free will. ' You may use it m whatever way you think fit. Many persons know how very ill I have been, and how much better I am m health to-day. Wishing you every success, and many thanks for your kind attention and treatment to myself. — I am, Dear Sir, Very sincerely yours, v M. A. GUNNELL. Successfully Combatting Disease. — A newspaper representative who recently visited the consulting rooms of Mr. P. Webb, herbal specialist, of this city, gained some idea of the widespread popularity of his method of successfully combatting disease. Oh the occasion mentioned, Mr. Webb's appropriately furnished rooms m Colombo-street North wore filled with patients, and every'minute saw the number increasing. From the tone of the numerous authentic testimonials received by Mr. Webb from persons m almost eveiy part of the colony, who have been cured by his system of herbal and vegetable treatment, it appears that the cures effected have created a sensation amongst thos» who have had them brought under their notice. In all over nine thousand cases hays been dealt with by his system of treatment throughout New Zealand, and during the eighteen months Mr. Webb has "been established m this city ho has treated close upoit fifteen hundred cases. One strong feature of his systemis.that.it dees , away with the necessity for surgical operations m a large number of cases where such operations are usually considered necessary. He has removed from the human body various growths which are usually only removed by mearia of operations. The esteem m which.Mr. Webb i& held by. his patients m this city was shown on Monday afternoon, when- about one hundred patients and ex-patients waited on him and presented him with an illuminated address and a gold medal; The address, which is artistically designed, and is signed by .83 persons who have been benefitted by Mr. Webb's system of treatment, refers to Mr. Webb's skilful and valuable services performed m this city and district during the past twelve months. Of some of the cases dealt with the signatories deem it no exaggeration to say that they border on the miraculous ; m some instances complaints of twenty years' standing have been cured, and m others he has been successful where medical practitioners have given them up as incurable. Recognition is also, made of the many gratuitous services rendered by Mr. Webb to persons m straitened circumstances who havo received his special attention and care, altogether apart from any mercenary cqnsidcratious. The gold medal which accompanied the address. bore the inscription :— " To P. Webb, from his patients m Christchurch." Mr. Webb is leaving on, a ten days' visit to Wellington, where there are one hundred patients requiring his attention.-— ■" The Press." F. WEBB, HERBAL SPECIALIST.
