For the four months following the- fire Moore had a particularly/ bad time. He could-n't find employment and; had no money, and he had, a wife and two- children to supJpout. Finally he got a billet m Levin, as manager of the newly formed ;"Leyin. Express and- Carrying Company. "• But just as he had got a start he was arrested on a charge of .a'pson. : As to the charge: we, know nothing, that will be for a jury to decide, but. we do know that his wife and two children are left m Levin, where they' are practically strangers, -quite unprovidfed for. Whatever the merits of Moore's case it is: very pitiful indeed that his wife and. lit _le - children should be left to, suAei;-.
