AMERICA'S GOLORED COURSE.

The Beloved Black Brother and His Little Ways.

The American papers continually teem with stories of murder and ravishment by negroes, the hellish race over whom, m the comparatively wild, uncivilised state, m South Africa, even now Exeter Hall and Keir Hardie weep copiously and whom all that gang . should be , forced to live with. Here is one little incident that occurred m Yonkers, New York State, recently, as it was wired all over the United States. It makes nice reading and gives a fine idea of the truculent, murderous negro character : One man is dead, one is dying and a third is m a dangerous condition, as a result of a race riot last night. No negro was injured. Mary Wilson and Edward White, mother and son, both negroes, /are under arrest. .. No one seems to • know how ., the riot started. Several men were fighting man alley. Others, Caucasians and negroes, joined them, until the riot was m full swing. White's mother ran out of her home with a razor, and White became possessed of a very shatrp case knife. With these weapons, the two soon cleared the field. Michael Fitzgerald was found with his, jugular vein severed and his head and body badly cut. Thomas Eagan had cuts m the head and was disemboweled. John Dowd had" bad cuts m head and body. Fitzgerald died m St. Joseph's Hospital at 5 o'clock this morning;. Slight hopes are entertained of Ea^an's recovery. Dowd is m a dangerous condition. Several other men received slight cuts, but were able to get away.
