POWER EXTENSIONS
ERECTION OF SUB-STATIONS Under the scheme for the development of liydro-electric facilities in Auckland, the Public Works Department has let a contract for the construction of a sub-station at Belmont, North Shore, to H. \ r . Kerr and Company, Limited. Operations to construct the reinforced concrete building have started. The scheme generally is being rapidly developed. I'-xcept for the provision of large roller doors, the now power station buildings at Mount l?oskill and Henderson are practically completed. Substantial additions are being made to the sub-station at Penrose.
