DEATH IN CAMP
FIRST CASE AT HOPUHOPU EX-SERVICEMAN AGED 62 The first . death at the Hopnhopu military camp is that of Mr. W. Greenall, an ex-serviceman who, although aged 02, enlisted with the special force and was accepted for service. During the Great War be served with the 3rd Battalion, Royal Scots, and rose to the rank of quartermaster-sergeant. At Hopuhopti ho had been doing canteen duty. Mr. Grcenall died suddenly after a heart attack. His body is to bo taken to Kaukapakapa, whero lie enlisted, and the funeral will be held there. Officers of the camp spoke highly yesterday of his cheerfulness and spirit of service, which had led him to seek enlistment, although .ho was well past the age limit.
