DEVONPORT LIGHTING
It is expected that the community lighting system will be in operation in Victoria Road, Devonport, before Christmas, according to a report presented at a meeting of the Waitemata Elcctric-Power Board yesterday. The glassware has been ordered and quotations have been called from local wiring contractors. All the shopkeepers except two joined the scheme.
