AVONDALE CROQUET CLUB
The official opening of the Avondale tlroquet Club took place in unfavourable weather, but was nevertheless well attended by club members and visitors. The president, Mrs. Henderson, welcomed tho guests, and Mrs. Robertson, vice-president of the Auckland Croquet Association, wished the club a successful season. Mrs. Henderson then played tho first ball and declared the lawns open.
