REFUGEE CHILDREN
10,000 FOR UNITED STATES PROPOSAL BY SENATOR (Received February 10, 6.15 p.m.) WASHINGTON*. Feb. 9 Senator R. F. Wagner introduced a resolution in the Senate seeking to authorise the admission to the United States of 10,000 refugee children of every' race and creed in 1939-40. They would be children up to the age of 14, and would be admitted under arrangements made by private citizens to provide for them, and without affecting the normal quota of immigrants.
