TRAIN BLOCKS CROSSING
BRAKE COUPLING BURSTS [from our own correspondent] Hamilton, Friday A slight mishap to the TaneatuaAuckland express caused a traffic block in Victoria Street. Hamilton, this afternoon. A brake connection burst when the train was on the crossing. Motor traffic extended for a quarter of a mile on each side of the crossing during the few minutes occupied in replacing the connection.
