On the plough, Beaupartir (Ireland), after breaking 26s for the first two and 52s for half a mile, finished solidly to complete seven furlongs in 1.33 4-5. Tatimau (Ireland) worked solidly over six furlongs, taking -12 l-5s for the last three. Brazil (Ireland) was in front of Thrasos (light- boy) at the end of five furlongs, running the last four in 54 3-ss.
