Icevus . . • .. 12 TIME COMPARISONS EPSOM CANDIDATES OTAHUHU HANDICAP FIELD RECORD OF BEXLEY GIRL Of the horses engaged in the Otahuhu Handicap at the Auckland Trotting Club's meeting at Epsom to-day, Rexley Girl, 4.19, and Double Great, 4.21, have the fastest records and their times were recorded on dirt tracks. Kenworthy, 4.21 1-5, has easily the best performance on a grass track. If enworthy's time was registered when he ran second to Our War in the President's Handicap at Epsom, the winner going 4.22 2-5. Navy Blue ran 4.28 in winning the Auckland Trotting Cup, in which Our War was fourth in 4.29 1-5, but she was unplaced in the President's Handicap. Kewpie's Triumph, 4.24 1-5, and Fornbrook Lass, 4.25 .'5-5, made their records some seasons ago, when Willie Derby four times ran 4.27. Kewpie's King went 4.28 2-5 to defeat Sandusky, 4.29 3-5, in the Labour Day Handicap at Epsom on a holding track. For fourth at Addington Sandusky registered 4.24. Star Pronto's best is 4.(30. Gold Dredge has a record of 4.29, her present mark, while Our Peggy, a brilliant mare at sprint and middle distances, has no time against her at two miles.
