Mr. T. Ingl is Moors has alroadv established himself in the inner ranks of contemporary Australian poets and as a novelist and playwright. For that reason his latest volume, "Adagio in Blue." which includes "Druidic Gums." which was awarded the, second prize in the. Short Poem section of the Literary competition conducted by the I">()tii Anniversary Celebrations" Committee, may be presumed to be certain of a ■welcome from that small but discriminating section of the public who have lyrical taste. Doubtless it will be the more warmly received by this judicioits minority because it successfully illustrates the distinction between poetry and verse. Technically, if not always emotionally, everything in this slim book is on a very high plane, and there is abundant evidence of intrinsic thought and fluent imagery. . "Adagio in Blue." Poems by T.
