MOTHER AND DAUGHTER

MARRIAGE TO BROTHERS SPIRIT HUSBAND'S "0.K." A widow and her daughter were married to two brothers at Birmingham Parish Church, and, according to tho mother, they are all going to live as one happy family. The senior brklo was Mrs. Eleanor Louisa llifi'e, of Barford Street, Birmingham, who is 50, Her former husband died 12 years ago. Her bridegroom was John Thomas Meller, a 36-year-old cabinetmaker. The daughter, Miss lreno Gertrude Iliffe. aged 18, was married to Mr. Arnold Meller, who is 25. Tho elder bride had promised her own mother that sho would not marry again while tho latter was alive. Her mother died a year ago. Mrs. Iliffe said: "Wo are quito sure about our now, for at a seance we had a spirit message through a medium who said, "Job wishes ma to tell you that what you are looking forward to is 0.K." Job was Mrs. llifFo's first husband. Tho new Mrs. Meller, senior, has lived in the same house for 30 years, and said sho oxpects to do tho cooking, as sho lias always done. As a result of their marriages mother and daughter became sisters-in-law and tho Meller brothers became and stepson-in-law. Mrs. Iliffo beeamo both mother-in-law and sister-in-law of Mr. Arnold Meller. and her daughter became John Meller s step-daughter and also his sister-in-law, and so on.
