ROYAL DESCENT
BRITAIN'S PRIME MINISTER Mr. Anthony Wagner, Portcullis Pursuivant at tho College of Heralds, lias discovered that Britain's Prime Minister is descended through his mother from Edward the First, Nearly 20 generations have passed sway since the great king's ninth daughter, Elizabeth, was born at ilhuddlan Castle in North Wales. As a widow of 20 she married Humphrey do Bohun, the Karl of Hereford, who was killed at the Battle of Boroughbridge. / One of their descendants married a Chamberlain of North Wales, and in Wales the family seems to havo remained until it moved to the Birmingham district early in the last century, The pedigree shows that Mr. Chamberlain is related also to John Quincy Adams, a President of the United States of America.
