ANNUAL CONFERENCE

' DOMINION FLORISTS LOCAL MEMBERS ENTERTAIN A sherry party was given by Miss G. Rattray last night to farewell the delegates to tlio conference of the International Florists' Telegraphic Association (New Zealand Unit), held at Auckland during the week. This is the fourth annual conference to be held by the unit, and the first time that the conference has been held in Auckland. Representatives of the association from all over the Dominion wore present.

Delegates have been entertained widely during their stay in Auckland, Miss Rattray being in charge of the local arrangements. A luncheon, given by Mr. G. Cooper and the associate members, was held at the Albert Hotel on Wednesday, and the local members gave a dinner at the Central Hotel, and also took rho delegates for a drive around Titirangi and Waiatarua, with afternoon tea at the Waiatarua kiosk.

All tho delegates attended at tho Domain on Thursday afternoon, when a wreath was placed upon the Cenotaph. . Yesterday they were the guests of Mr. Arthur Yates on a drive around Mount Eden, the Domain and the waterfront suburbs, with morning tea at the Mount Eden kiosk. The Dominion president, Mr. J. Stewart, and the secretary, Miss 30. M. Black, gave short addresses, in which thov thanked the local members for their hospitality during the conference.
