Sir, —Constructive criticism is always welcome, but "Kathleen Mavourneen" cannot be, charged with that. His letter is one long grouch. Ho advocates a minor rebellion, with the slogan "No benefits, no pay." A few years ago we wore paying a wage tax of Is in_ the £l, and the benefits were very limited. This scheme is the biggest known to New Zealanders, and it is regrettable that certain persons are attempting to sabotage the scheme. "Kathleen Mavourneen" seems to bo pessimistic enough to think that he will require the health benefits on April 1. Onohunga. W. Piciceuing.
