DISABLED SOLDIERS
Sir.— Being an old soldier 1 am naturally very sympathetic toward those wiio are loss fortunate than myself, but in fairness to everyone, I must point out that the Patriotic Society spend thousands in helping those who are on pension. Many have, been on their books drawing weekly allowances tor 15 years and you may bo quite sure that those who are completely disabled would have first and continuous assistance. '1 he Government, 1 am sure, are willing, but they have so many calls and find it difficult to carry on. It would be interesting to know the number ol New Zealand returned men who are on pension and those who are completely disabled. Fairi'lay.
