FAREWELL DANCE

PRESENTATIONS MADE TRIBUTE FROM STAFFS DALGETY AND COMPANY A farewell funcion in tho form of a danpe on the occasion of the retirement of Mr. A. W. A. Perkins from the company was held by the staff of the Auckland branch of Dalgety and Company, Limited, and sub-branches. Mr. Perkins was accompanied by Mrs. Perkins.

In presenting to Mr. and Mrs. Perkins a set of golf clubs and a silver salver suitably inscribed from the staff, Mr. C. E. Holmes, manager of the Hamilton sub-branch, referred to tho fact that Mr. Perkins had managed the Auckland" branch for closo on 30 years.

Tho staff sports club took advantage of the occasion to present Mr. Perkins with his life member's badge.

During tho evening a welcome was extended to tho new Auckland manager, Mr. H. N. Eiby. Tho function took the form of a dance and was enjoyed by a very large gathering of staff members.
