PLUNKET WORK
NORTHCOTE COMMITTEE The Northcote committee of the Plunket Society has resumed its general activities after the vacation. The president, Mrs. A. Campbell, presided at the fir6t meeting. Voluntary motor-car transport to facilitate the work of the Plunket nurse had been provided during the holiday period by Miss Myrtle Lepper, Miss lsobel Crowe, Mrs. N. E. Heath, Mrs. A. Sterling, Mrs. Herbert Cadness, jun., Mrs. F. C. Williams, Mrs. A. L. Elliott and Mr D P. O'Lear.v. Mrs. J. E. Mays was welcomed as a new member. _ A donation of five guineas was made to the Auckland Karitane Hospital. Preliminary arrangements were made for the Plunkot Day street collection which the Borough Council has authorised.
