Time, lm 15s. { ELLERSLIE TRAINING •STRETTO IN GOOD ORDER ; VALMINT AND OHMAHA The No. 2 grass was available for galloping at Kllerslie yesterday and the best performances were recorded by Stretto, Ringshot, School Song, Valinint and Ohinaha.

Knight of Australia (Clarke) did strong work over a round, running the last six furlongs in 1.19 2-5. Fleetwind (Gilchrist) . was going comfortably throughout five furlongs in 1.8. Palmint (Neil) ran the last three furlongs of his work in 39 3-ss. Silver Sound (Tonks) recorded 54 l-5s for half a mile. Bright Idea (J. Buchanan) and Master .Appellant (Stokes) strode over six furlongs in 1.26 1-5. The Romney—Thurnley (Gilchrist) was not extended while traversing five furlongs in 1.7 2-5. Neil (Metoalf) ran the last six furlongs of a round in 1.25 2-ss. .

First Gold Money (Gilchrist) sprinted three furlongs in 38 4-ss. Royal Appellant (J. Buchanan) traversed a round, in 1.54, the last six furlongs in J. 25 1-5.

Kelly (Gijchrist) was under restraint while traversing a round in 1.54. Ringshot (Murray) and School Song (D. Green) went, well over five furlongs in ].3 3-5. They ran the last half-mile in 50 2-ss, and there was not much between them at the finish.

Black Polly (Markwick) reeled off half a mile in 52 2-ss. Stretto (Moore), after doing pacework over, a reeled off three furlongs in 37 l-ss. She looks in fine order after her racing at Now Plymouth. Jack Tar (Markwick) and Glen Abb (D. Green) were practically on terms at the conclusion of six furlongs in 1.16 1-5.

Valmint (Murray) and Ohmaha (Gilchrist) wore responsible for an attractive effort over half a mile in 495. The first furlong took 12 2-ss, and both horses were being kicked up at the finish. White Foam (Gilchrist) ran the same distance in 50 4-ss.

On the tan, Tybalt completed the last six furlongs of his work in 1.25 1-5, and Kereatu ran half a milo in 55 ]-5s My Money (D'C'onnor) gave a safe display over four hurdles. Ringshot and School Song left for Hotorua yesterday. Jack Tar and Glen Abb will make the trip to-day. Silver Quex, Kcna, Simint and Annacourt have already reached Rotoriia.
