Knight of Australia (Clarke) did strong work over a round, running the last six furlongs in 1.19 2-5. Fleetwind (Gilchrist) . was going comfortably throughout five furlongs in 1.8. Palmint (Neil) ran the last three furlongs of his work in 39 3-ss. Silver Sound (Tonks) recorded 54 l-5s for half a mile. Bright Idea (J. Buchanan) and Master .Appellant (Stokes) strode over six furlongs in 1.26 1-5. The Romney—Thurnley (Gilchrist) was not extended while traversing five furlongs in 1.7 2-5. Neil (Metoalf) ran the last six furlongs of a round in 1.25 2-ss. .

First Gold Money (Gilchrist) sprinted three furlongs in 38 4-ss. Royal Appellant (J. Buchanan) traversed a round, in 1.54, the last six furlongs in J. 25 1-5.

Jack Tar (Markwick) and Glen Abb (D. Green) were practically on terms at the conclusion of six furlongs in 1.16 1-5.

Valmint (Murray) and Ohmaha (Gilchrist) wore responsible for an attractive effort over half a mile in 495. The first furlong took 12 2-ss, and both horses were being kicked up at the finish. White Foam (Gilchrist) ran the same distance in 50 4-ss.
