CHINESE IN COURT
TWO ACCUSED REMANDED Charged with being the occupier of premises at 55 Grey's Avenue, and permitting them to be used for the, smoking of opium on Wednesday, Wong Hum, gardener, aged 44, appeared before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday. The accused was also charged with being found in possession of prepared opium.
Ah King, gardener, aged 42, also appeared, charged with being found on the premises without lawful excuse. 1 Mr. Dickson appeared for both .accused, and on his application they were remanded until February 17. Bail for Wong Hum was fixed at £IOO, and for Ah King at £5.
