MAN IN HARBOUR
ATTEMPTED SUICIDE CHARGE Seen floating in the Manukau Harbour about eight o'clock yesterday morning, Henry Sturges, aged 60, of Tawa Street, Onehunga, was unconscious when rescued by a party in a dinghy. Artificial respiration was applied by Constables W. A. Rathie and S. Olver, who took tho man to the Onehunga police station, where ho received medical attention. Ho was suffering from head injuries. Later Sturges was charged before Mr. J. Lakiug, J.P., with attempted suicide. Ho was remanded in custody to appear before a magistrate on Monday.
