NATIONAL PARTY
EDEN COMMITTEE FORMED ' Evidence of keen interest, in the approach of the Parliamentary elections was manifest at a well-attended meeting held under the auspices of the New Zealand National Party at the Epsom Library last night. Mr.'D. Hay presided over the meeting, n'hich decided to form a branch of the National Party in the Epsonv end of the Eden electorate. A strong committee was formod to further the interests of the party. Addresses were given by Mr. G. L. Taylor and Mr. T. G. Wilkes, organiser from the Dominion headquarters of the party at Wellington. Mr. Wilkes stressed the importance of early organisation and expressed gratification at the enthusiasm shown by the laree attendance.
