FINANCIAL FAILURE
BRISBANE SHAREBROKER PRESIDENT OF EXCHANGE (Received July 5.5 p.m.) BRISBANE. July « A notification from Mr. Alan D. Abercrombie that he could not meet his financial engagements was received to-day by the committee of the Brisbane Stock Exchange. -Mr. Abcrcromhio has been president of the Brisbane Exchange for the past two years.
A leading firm of Brisbane accountants was immediately instructed by the committee to make a full investigation of Mr. Abercrombie's books.
