Two professional boxing contests were held at Petone to-night. In the welter-weight bout Young dim Grifi'en beat T. Carhin on points. In the lightweight fight J. S. S. .Smith decisively beat Ralph Aitken. The former match went the full 10 rounds. Aitken conceded the other bout to Smith after six rounds
