EVIDENCE FOR THE DEFENCE [flV TELEGRAPH —IMtESS ASSOCIATION*) WELLINGTON, Tuesday The Hunter estate cafie was continued in the Supremo Court to-day, when Lawrence Cowan, manager' of i lie Porangahau station, gave evidence for the defence.
Witness said that all wools and skins had been saved that possibly could lie. It was the policy of neither the trustees nor the Into Sir George Hunter to sell cull lambs. Lady Hunter had always been hostile to the trustees and had told him she would never rest while they had anything to do with the management.
