OTAHUHU WORKSHOPS

STAFF ANNUAL BALL The spacious floor of the Otahuhu railway workshops social hall was thronged with a gay company of dancers at the staff annual hall held on Wednesday evening. The profuse use of multi-coloured streamers and coloured lights by their occasional blending and contrast made a pleasing setting. The dance programme was directed by Messrs. J. McDowell and \V. J. Loitcli and music was played by an orchestra under the direction of Mr. Al. Clarky. The lesser social hall was utilised for a supper room and was arlanged for a company of 400.
