PROPOSED MISSION VISIT TO WASHINGTON London, June 17 The Daily Herald's diplomatic correspondent says the idea of sending the ex-Prime Minister, Mr. Mac Donald, to Washington as a sort of " Ambassador-at-large," is being seriously considered. The Prime Minister, Mr. Baldwin, the Foreign Secretary, Sir Samuel Hoare, and the Minister in Charge of League of Nations Affairs, Mr. Anthony Eden, are all conscious of the enormous importance of a close understanding and co-operation between the British Empire, and the United States.
